Who we are

This website is operated by LyncSpace Software Services Private Limited, Level 5, Tamarai Tech Park, S.P. Plot No. 16–19 & 20-A, Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate, Inner Ring Road, Guindy, Chennai, India.

For any question about this policy or about your personal data, contact contact@lyncspace.com or +91 7799401144.

What this site does not do

This is a static website. To be specific about what that means in practice:

The map on our contact page

One exception, which we would rather name than bury. The map on the contact page draws its tiles from OpenFreeMap, an open-source map host. Your browser fetches them from tiles.openfreemap.org, and that request carries your IP address, as any web request does.

We use OpenFreeMap rather than a commercial provider because it sets no cookies, requires no account or API key, and keeps no user database. Nothing else on this site loads from another company. The tiles are only fetched if you scroll to the map or move your pointer over it, and the full address is written out in text beside it either way.

What is recorded automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs, as almost all web servers do. Each entry may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status returned, your browser’s user-agent string, and the referring page if your browser sent one.

We use these logs only to operate and secure the site — diagnosing errors, and identifying abuse or attacks. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not combined with any other source of information. Logs are rotated and deleted after 14 days.

Information you send us directly

If you email or telephone us, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, contact details, and the substance of your enquiry. We use it solely to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that engagement. We keep business correspondence for as long as needed for the relationship and for applicable tax and accounting requirements, then delete it.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Data may be handled by providers acting on our instructions, such as our hosting provider and our email provider. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to confirm what personal data of yours we hold, to correct it if it is inaccurate, or to erase it where it is no longer required. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you may additionally have rights of access, portability, restriction, and objection under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR.

To exercise any of these, write to contact@lyncspace.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the page and revise the date shown at the top.
